It is estimated that up to 80% of the ingredients found in body care products can

be absorbed through the skin. Numerous factors effect the health of our skin but

simply put, healthy skin requires a healthy environment. Undoubtedly what we put

on our body should be considered as carefully as what we put in our body.

Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Olive oil is a predominant ingredient in all our soap recipes. In addition to its

renowned ability to create a mild soap, olive oil also has the unique quality of

moisturizing the skin while allowing it to breath. It will not trap sweat, sebum or

dead skin cells thereby improving the skins natural balance while supporting its

proper function. Olive oil is high in anti oxidants and phytosterols.

Organic Palm Fruit Oil

Palm fruit oil is a rich storehouse of vitamin E, vitamin K and antioxidants offering

nutritional benefits to your skin as well as an excellent source of natural

preservatives to extend the shelf life of your soap.

Palm fruit oil used in our whirled soaps is grown and harvested from sustainable,

fair trade sources.

Organic Coconut Oil

Coconut oil is used in our soaps in place of the tallow or lard (animal fats)

traditionally used in soap making. When incorporated in a well balanced recipe the

properties of coconut oil enhance the ability of soap to both clean and moisturize

while producing a hard, long-lasting bar. Like palm fruit oil its high content of

vitamin E and antioxidants are beneficial to both the life of your skin and the life

of the bar.

Organic Jojoba Oil

Jojoba oil is actually a liquid wax from seeds of the jojoba plant. Its natural

with human skin is because its biological makeup so closely resembles

natural lubrication. Jojoba creates a velvet non-oily feel to the skin

surface and
assists in restoration of skin pliancy.

Organic Castor Oil

Castor oils healing and conditioning properties for both skin and hair are becoming

well known, making it fast growing in popularity. Castor oils high percentage of

ricinoleic acid (think rich moisturizing lather) sets it apart from all other vegetable

oils. Castor oil acts as a humectant by attracting and retaining moisture to the

skin. It has both anti bacterial and anti inflammatory properties.

Essential Oils

Highly concentrated botanical oils which carry both the scent and the beneficial

properties of the individual plant.

Hematite, Kaolin and Bentonite clay

Clays cannot be considered organic because they are not agriculturally derived.

The benefits of these clays are numerous and include the absorption of impurities

on the skin as well as adding moisture, minerals and oxygen.

All clays are sun dried without dyes, pigments or any other altercations or

manufacturing process.

Rosemary Oleoresin Extract

Also known as Rosemary oil extract or ROE is a highly effective natural anti-

oxidant used in minute amounts to sustain and extend the shelf life of the organic

Cocoa Absolute

Cocoa contains valuable anti-oxidants and is useful in softening skin as well as

supporting collagen, elastin and skin cell health. Cocoa absolute is similar to

essential oil except the extraction method uses ethyl alcohol (drinking alcohol)

instead of steam distillation. There is no alcohol in the finished soap.
